Students are instructed in non-aggressive, self-defense techniques and safety awareness. Personal esteem, respect for others, self-discipline and physical fitness are promoted. At the conclusion of class, students will be eligible to earn a certified belt. Returning students can earn a higher rank belt. Every child will receive a number of participation awards.

On the first night of class, the instructor will explain the Young Americans expectations. Parents are strongly encouraged to attend. 

Students should wear comfortable, loose fitting clothing such as sweat pants or shorts and a T-shirt. Uniforms are optional and can be purchased from the instructor.

Beginner Level
To get the most out of this class and not distract others, students should be able to pay attention for 40 minutes.
